  	WACO TRIBUNE-HERALD 2-25-1987 D.G.KIRKLAND GATESVILLE - D. G. Kirkland, 65, of Gatesville, formerly of Mart, died Tuesday morning at a Mart nursing home. Memorial services will be 4 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church of Mart, the Rev. Ken Schultz officiating. Burial will be at Mart Cemetery. Mr. Kirkland was born March 18, 1921, in Mart. He was a retired rancher. He was an Air Force pilot in World War II. He was married to Mary Lois McAnally June 20, 1942, in Belton. He was a Methodist. Survivors include his wife; his mother, Ruby Kirkland of Mart; a daughter, Mrs. Lois ("Cissy") Jenison of Vienna, VA.; and two grandchildren.
