Based on his Certificate of Marriage to Lilly Starr and his WWI Registration, his birth year was 1896.
(He probably used this date because he was under the legal age to get married, as well as too young to register for the Army.)
Based on his Military Separation papers, the birth year shown was 1899. This is also the year that was engraved on his tombstone.
Based on his Birth Certificate, authenticated by a raised seal, his birth year was actually 1898. | McAnally, Oscar Peeler "Dan" (I03)

She was found in her wrecked automobile, by Apache Indians August 23, 1971 between Counselor and Cuba, New Mexico, five months after her death. Her car had gone off the highway, through a fence, through a field and into a river bed or creek bed, not visible from the highway. She was traveling alone back to her home in Ruidoso, New Mexico after visiting her daughter in Farmington, New Mexico and it appeared she was the victim of a one car accident, with no witnesses. She had been the subject of a nationwide search (by the FBI and her son, Angelo McAnally) since she disappeared on March 30th. | Kitchen, Lois Dema (I76)
